Find The Time

Hello everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I just wanted to share a quick note. At the beginning of the week, all four editors at work will meet for an update of our duties. We started rotating who "runs" the meeting, and this week it was my job. Usually, this just means beginning with your own list of "To Do's" and passing the ball off to the next editor.

I certainly miss her dearly as I've been in Southern California for the past three years. Mom pushes me to better myself, both professionally and personally, and she is the reason I am writing this post today. Yesterd…

Why Meditation Matters (Plus A Bonus Meditation)

Meditation is a powerful tool in life. When you stop the mind's mundane thoughts (about work, relationships or anything other than bettering yourself), you are able to approach and appreciate life in a new way. If you've ever meditated, you probably know what I mean!
Check out this short meditation, below. We did this meditation about once per week during yoga teacher training, so thank you to Robbin and Sweatstar Yoga!
